The function of User Pool is for Administrator(s) of a Registered Business Entity/Organisation to group trade document information under different user accounts under the same Registered Business Entity/Organisation into a collaborative view based on its business needs. Company/Organisation (Administrator) can be a Pool Administrator, invite other User of a Registered Business Entity/Organisation to a User Pool as a Pool Member, and further administer activities of fellow Pool Members under a User Pool. Also, Pool Administrator can easily navigate the progress of all trade document applications among Pool Members and assign delegation among Pool Members when required.

Remark: The function of user pool is applicable to all types of trade documents under Phase 1 and the following types of trade documents under Phase 2:

  1. Licence to Export/Re-export for Endangered Species
  2. Licence to Import for Endangered Species
  3. Plant Import Licence
  4. Re-export Certificate for Species of non-Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) or not yet Controlled under the Protection of Endangered Species of Animals and Plants Ordinance (Cap. 586)
  5. Import and Export Statements for Dutiable Commodities
  6. Import Licence for Radioactive Substances and Irradiating Apparatus
  7. Import/Export Licence of Proprietary Chinese Medicines
  8. Import/Export Licence of Chinese Herbal Medicines
  9. Import/Transhipment Permit for Biological Materials
  10. Import/Export Licence for Rice
  11. Strategic Commodities Import/Export Licence
